I think that this book was an exciting thriller. If you are into the thriller and suspense genre then you'll be entertained by this book and you won't be able to put it down. The story centers around a grandmother name Nancy, who is a former M16 director. Some problems from her past come back to get her into trouble. Will she get out of it? I highly suggest seeing this novel to get the answer.

Jumped into 'Assisting Fate' right after the first book, and it kept me hooked. Following Nancy's story and her past catching up was pretty intense. Its a good, fast-paced thriller with all the espionage you'd expect. The music tie-in is a cool idea too. If you like spy novels with some personal stakes, this one's worth a read.

This book blew my expectations out of the water. Assisting Fate balances heart-pounding espionage with deeply emotional storytelling. I didn't expect to care this much about a retired MI6 director and her past sins, but autolemy made her story so raw and intense.
