Musical fiction at its best

Rooted in the 1970’s, ‘Assisting Fate’ is the follow up to Say Goodbye and the second book in the Walker-Powell trilogy. This story delves deeper into Lee Walker's world, a character whose life is forever altered by a fateful decision. As the plot unfolds, we witness the aftermath of Lee's bold choice, which sets into motion a series of catastrophic events. At the heart of the narrative is Lee's grandmother, Nancy, a former director of MI6 whose shadowy past comes back to haunt her in unexpected ways. Despite her formidable reputation, Nancy finds herself ensnared in a deadly game of cat and mouse, where the stakes are higher than ever before. As she grapples with the consequences of her actions, Nancy has to confront the ghosts of her past and make unimaginable sacrifices to protect those she loves.

Assisting Fate is a nice book that captures you from the first page. It is not necessary to read the first volume, and the story is full of action. There are twists and the characters are well done, I think you can like it just like I did even if you have not read the first one. but now I'm curious as soon as possible I will fix it with the first volume =)

An emotional rollercoaster that will have you on the edge of your seat. It's a captivating blend of espionage, family drama, and heart-pounding twists, all wrapped up in a masterful story. Nancy is such a unique and complex character-fierce and unforgettable. Autolemy has been a talent for blending suspense with deep emotional stakes. I was hooked from start to finish.

This is a total standout, gripping, emotionally layered, and totally unique thanks to its musical twist. This book isnt just about spycraft and revenge, its really about loyalty, family, and the personal cost of keeping secrets. Cant wait to see how the trilogy ends.
