Musical fiction at its best

‘Say Goodbye’ is the first book in a planned trilogy following six going on seven year old ‘Lee Walker’. A mischievous sort, Lee discovers his mother’s infidelity leading to a devastating series of events that see his family tear apart and the young boy cast aside. Having decided to runaway, Lee’s adventure eventually takes him to France, where he must rely on his survival instincts to stay alive. His journey takes a twist when he has an unexpected encounter in the strange world of KGB operatives, secret underworlds, and MI6... with which he has a extraordinary connection.

If you enjoy Ian Rankin or David Baldacci, you'll love this!

This action-packed and hard-hitting limited first-edition book was conceived and produced alongside an album of music. Listen the songs, and let your subconscious slip into the mind of the author and Lee Walker’s world of pain and relief. The songs set the mood for the narrative and in essence, it is the soundtrack of Lee Walker's life and the first episode in the 'Walker Powell Series.'

‘Say Goodbye’ is a hardcover 300-page fictional novel, beautifully bound and printed on exceptionally high-quality paper. You'll find the CD album and individual download card inside the front cover.

Only 500 individually numbered first editions of this CD-enhanced book will be available worldwide!

Did not put this book down

Loved this book from start to finish, story was believable if not a little true to my own time as a young boy. Very well written.

Great page turner!

From the intriguing opening chapter ,I couldn’t put this book down. I’m a slow reader but I finished this in two days - dying to know what happened next. I was totally immersed in Lee’s world. Looking forward to the next one!

A highly entertaining page-turner!

I finished this book today and felt compelled to recommend it to others straight away.
Overall it's a really entertaining and enjoyable read - and I was hooked from the first chapter (which is rare for me!).

It does cover some uncomfortable child welfare issues - but in an intelligent and insightful way, which strengthened my emotional connection to Lee (the main character).
The ending was intriguing too - hopefully paving the way for a sequel (which I will definitely be reading).

PS. The hardback version has a premium quality feel. I haven't listened to the accompanying CD yet but, after enjoying the book so much, I will definitely be doing so shortly.

Brilliant storyline

This book has a brilliant storyline, is engaging, emotional and every page I was drawn more into the characters. There were moments where I could feel my eyes tearing up and I felt moved by the whole story and I couldn’t put it down!

Another cool thing with this book is that it comes with an album too! I don’t know about some of you guys but I’m sometimes partial to listening to music whilst reading so with this book, you don’t have to worry about what music to play as it already comes with it!

This book would be great for all mature readers.

Compelling, engaging, powerful

This book was compelling, engaging, powerful, moving, emotional and jaw dropping. This was definitely a very hard hitting novel which I found very difficult to read at points due to the upsetting events that occurred. This book literally broke my heart and I think that shows how well, powerfully and strongly it was written. When a book makes you feel that sad and a bit uncomfortable you know it’s an amazingly written piece of work.

I don’t think a book has ever made me crumble that much before. The emotions were so high. The book felt so real and as the reader you felt so involved and present. The writing, narrative, language used, sentence types and discourse was top level. This book well and truly moved me. As a result, I would highly recommend this book to mature readers. But, please check the TW’s before consuming as the violent and emotionally abusive scenes were very hard hitting.

Also, the ending 😵 I’m a sucker for a happy ending but we certainly didn’t get that from this book which was definitely interesting and a different take to what I’m use to. Which is cool. Plus it was a proper cliff hanger ending. Book two please???
