This book is a perfect blend of gripping musical fiction and intense family drama. The story follows Lee, a seven-year-old whose life spirals into chaos after a shocking family betrayal. It's packed with tension, raw emotion, and unexpected twists that kept me hooked. What makes it even more unique is the accompanying music album, which adds another layer to the experience (definitely recommend listening while you read!). Set in 1970s England and France, the atmosphere feels so real. If you're into Ian Rankin or David Baldacci, this one's a must-read!

I just finished reading *Say Goodbye*, and I really enjoyed it! The story is super engaging and filled with suspense, especially watching Lees life spiral after that intense moment with his mom and the stranger. Its emotional and dramatic, but in a way that keeps you hooked. The fact that there's a whole album to go along with the story is such a cool idea. While I didnt get the music with the Kindle version, it still felt like a complete experience, and now Im curious to check out the soundtrack. If you like family drama with some thrill, this is a great pick!

Lees journey is both heartbreaking and inspiring.

"Say Goodbye" is a powerful and emotional story that pulls you in from the very first page. The story follows Lee, a young boy who discovers his mother with a stranger, and from that point on, his world falls apart. The author does an incredible job of capturing the heartbreak and isolation Lee feels as hes pushed out of his own family. Its hard not to root for him as he faces challenges no child should ever experience.

One thing that really stood out is that the hardcover version of the book comes with a 21-track album thats meant to complement the story. Unfortunately, if youre reading the digital version, like I was, the album is not included. You have to purchase it separately, which was a bit disappointing for me. I wish there had been a link to download the music for free, because it seems like it would have added another layer of depth to the experience. So, for me, it was fiction without the music.

Despite that, the writing is still powerful, and Lees journey is both heartbreaking and inspiring. If you're okay without the music, it's still a great read. But if you really want the full experience, Id recommend going for the hardcover version with the album.
