I enjoyed this book on my kindle so havent heard the music, but this seems a great concept. As for the story it is a good read and the 1970s world is well described.

A gripping and original family thriller

Say Goodbye surprised me with how emotional and unique it is. At its heart, its a thriller about family betrayal, survival, and courage told through the eyes of a young boy. The 1970s setting feels authentic, with strong atmosphere and tension that builds from the very first chapter.

What really sets this book apart is that it was written alongside a music album created for the story. Unfortunately, the Kindle version doesnt include the tracks, which is a shame, because I think the reading experience would have been even more powerful with the music. Still, the story holds up well on its own and doesnt lose its emotional impact.

It reminded me at times of classic thrillers mixed with very personal, intimate storytelling. Lee, the young protagonist, is a character you cant help but root for, and watching how he learns to survive in such a broken family is both heartbreaking and inspiring.

Overall, this is a creative and well-written family thriller that feels different from most books in the genre. If you enjoy stories with emotional weight, dark family drama, and a touch of originality, Say Goodbye is definitely worth your time.

This book is a poignant page-turner about family betrayal and manipulation. Also, included is a music album that is included in the hardcover version and can be found on Youtube as well. I really enjoyed the songs while reading the book. Unique and fun to read.

not a typical thriller

Say Goodbye isnt your typical family thrillerits a story with a soundtrack! This book drops you into 1970s England and France, where betrayal, secrets, and survival swirl around a boy forced to grow up too soon. Its tense, emotional, and unexpectedly cinematiclike reading a movie with its own 21-track album (which youll wish you had playing in the background). If family drama with a pulse is your thing, this one hits all the right notes.
